Gyro-based Camera Stabilization

Educated at Harvard University, Adam Sidman is originally from Colorado Springs, CO.  He speaks Mandarin Chinese and Spanish.

Adam is a Supervising Producer and has produced top-rated shows for Discovery, National Geographic, SPIKE and Animal Planet. He has also developed several show pitches, which became successful series on other networks including A&E and SyFy.

His commercial video production company, now called Home Cooked Productions, Inc., was orignally founded in 2001. It has served dozens of domestic and international clients with professional-grade, multi-lingual video pieces on topics ranging from medical and construction training to sports to historical documentary.  

In 2005, he filed a U.S. Patent for a handheld gyro-based camera stabilization device.  This revolutionary rig offers a camera operator complete maneuverable motion control over a camera while offering solid stabilization utilizing MEMS gyro sensors and servo motors. He has succesfully been granted two patents for his invention(U.S. Patents 7,642,741 and 8,179,078).
